The Apollo Theater hosts is annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration from WNYC and the Apollo Theater, featuring musical performances that bring together audiences from Harlem and around the city. The afternoon includes scholars, community leaders and activists engaging in conversations that examine the future of social justice as we traverse the current social and political climate. This event is part of Carnegie Hall’s The ’60s: The Years that Changed America.
