OSL continues its Carnegie appearances with this family-friendly program of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf featuring Broadway and film star John Lithgow. We reviewed OSL last year here. In nicely progressive family programming, OSL also plays two Carnegie Hall commissions: Robert Xavier Rodriguez The Dot and the Line in a New York premiere, and Caroline Shaw’s The Mountain That Loved a Bird in its world premiere. The Orchestra of St. Luke’s is also at Carnegie Hall on October 12, December 7 and next year on February 15.
