San Francisco Symphony Plays Twentieth-Century Composers at Carnegie Hall

The San Francisco Symphony, which under the steady leadership of conductor Michael Tilson Thomas maintains its world-class status, comes to Carnegie Hall for four nights. They continue with works by three important twentieth-century composers. Cellist Gautier Capuçon joins for Shostakovich’s thrilling Cello Concerto No. 1. Also on the program are Cage The Seasons, and Bartók’s exciting Concerto for Orchestra.
