My Fair Lady

Lerner and Loewe’s musicalization of George Bernard Shaw’s classic play Pygmalion returns to Broadway in a lavish new production of My Fair Lady from Lincoln Center Theater. This is the same producing organization that brought New York the Tony-winning revivals of South Pacific and The King and I. The award-winning musical tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor who is determined to transform her into his idea of a “proper lady.” But who is really being transformed?

Directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher, the cast features Lauren Ambrose (Eliza), Harry Hadden-Paton (Henry Higgins), Norbert Leo Butz (Doolittle) and Diana Rigg (Mrs. Higgins). The classic score features “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “The Rain in Spain,” “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” and “On the Street Where You Live.”

First Preview: March 15, 2018
