The former Museum of Broadcasting is now the Paley Center of Media, an archive of film, television and radio that sits right in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. The New York branch of this institution often plays host to exhibitions, receptions, and fund-raising events, including special events like PaleyFest NY in the fall, where celebrities come and give panels on the arts. Of course, there is more to do here year-round: visit the Ralph Guild Listening Room to hear pre-programmed channels, peruse the Center’s expansive library, or take a seat in the computer lab on the fourth floor and watch any of the 160,000 TV and radio programs that the Paley Center keeps in its database.
